BIG HUGE THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING LONDON – yesterday’s #punkrockfleamarket was A-MAZING! I had so much fun – and so happy to make new friends and see so many smiling faces 🤘😊 Thanks also to the amazing organizers @livefreeordieapparel & @shopnervoushabits for all your hard work – you ladies SLAY! Love you guys! Hope to see you again real soon! If you’re ever in the Hammer, come say HI!
Looking back on 2016, I am both overwhelmed by the love I’ve received from so many wonderful people who inspire me daily to keep doing what I’m doing, and excited for what’s next going forward in 2017. This year we raised over $700 for charities together – let’s keep that going! THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS. This all means nothing without you. ❤️🍾🍸🎉 To think that I only started out a couple of years ago and made it this far in such a short period of time, has been an astounding accomplishment and I’m feeling really great about making the decision to take a couple months off to batten down the hatches and restructure a little bit, draw my arse off and come up with dope new shit, and generally make things more awesome.
HERE’S TO A CREATIVE, BRIGHT & PROSPEROUS NEW FUTURE IN 2017 – #HAPPYNEWYEAR EVERYONE!
I LOVE YOU TORONTO! The Karma Cup was quite literally the most profitable event I’ve ever worked. A gargantuan amount of planning and dedication was involved for this, and I want to thank Sarah Sunday @sarahsundayy first and foremost – not only do I love you as family, and one of my dearest friends, I am so proud of your amazing accomplishments and I am so honored to have been a part of the team. Thank you so much for everything you’ve given me over the years. Massive thank you to my intrepid assistant Joe Dang @thedangler_ – you saved my ass more than once this weekend, and stuck it through like a champ – I love you buddy, you’re going places kid. To the artists I worked with over the past few months – thank you for sticking with us through the kinks. Thanks also for all the media coverage – I don’t think I’ve ever had that many photos and interviews done during an event! And to everyone involved, attending, or supporting The Cup & The Cause – THANKS FOR THE LOVE & SUPPORT, KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT – WE’RE ALMOST THERE!
So ends my festival circuit for 2016 – it’s been the biggest and best year for me yet at this point in my career and I’m super stoked for all the great ones coming in 2017. 🍾 Catch me at the next event: Concession Street’s FALLFEST on Sat. Oct. 29th from 11-5pm – I’ve still got a few Mama Nugs mugs and stickers left to snag! Or drop into MMJ Canada @mmjcanada.eastcoast in Hess Village for a visit – starting tomorrow, all day – I’M BACK, BABY!! 🤘😘❤️
SUPERCRAWL IS FINALLY SUPER OVER! I want to thank each and every one of you – everyone involved in the massive production that is the festival – your hard work and determination have been much appreciated by the entire city. You should feel so proud of your efforts! I want to thank everyone who made it out to check out the action over the past 3 days – I hope you all had a fabulous time and thanks to those who stopped by and checked us out! I also want to thank Kevin @sensationalsamosa in the Farmer’s Market as well as Marko @godtoldmetorelax and Tina @66mundo@clubabsinthe for absolutely everything – you guys are incredibly amazing and I love you. Jeff @oldjeffyboy – I can’t believe you held out so long DJing, you are a champ. Also big shout outs to my lovely assistants – Megan @megvdv and Mark @chaos_in_gotham – I couldn’t have done this without you guys, seriously – you saved my life this weekend more times than I can count. Thank you to Tim and Mark at Sonic Unyon for literally changing the face of Hamilton and bringing this festival to life for everyone – what a Herculean task, and yet you make it look so effortless – you guys rock! And last but not least all the amazingly talented vendors and artists who were a part of the markets I ran – you guys are all some of the most creative and wonderful people I’ve met and I hope everyone had a great time – I know it was a lot of hard work but you guys knocked it out of the park. We learned a lot together this weekend – the ups and downs of working a festival are many, but we did it – and it was DOPE AS FUCK. Cheers everyone! AMAZING JOB. 🍾🏆🎉
I just donated $500 to SACHA with the money raised through my Fazooli stuff! With every purchase, a portion of proceeds goes into a local cause. Last year at Christmas, we helped raise enough funds to feed a large number of people at Mission Services. This time, we’re helping out the local Sexual Assault Centre with much needed funding towards transportation, equipment, supplies, support line, counsellors, community outreach and public education strategies.
If you have experienced sexual violence, including sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse or sexual harassment, at ANY time in your life, you are not alone. SACHA is here to help. Their services are free, non-judgemental and based on the belief that survivors are the experts of their own experiences. They also provide learning opportunities for the entire community. Check out their website for more information on their services and please donate if you can.
Yesterday was a blast at the Bazaar of the Bizarre – I appreciate all the great compliments and interest in my Fazooli stuff and I’d love to come back and do it again any time! YOU GUYS ROCK! ❤
Special thank you to Adriana Fulop for giving me the opportunity to do this super fun event again, and for all the hard work and effort she does putting on these shows – you are an inspiration m’dear!
We had a blast at the Big Top For Pops Edition of the Punk Rock Flea Market @ Club Absinthe yesterday raising funds for Fort Mac! Amazing friends, music, food, vendors, and hilarious antics with the kids – let’s do it again next month! And big thank you to all involved for all your hard work putting this together – you rock! Cheers everybody! [Photo by Jen Roomes]
