OH HAI! Come join us on Sunday for a very special Valentine’s Day Pop Up Market! We’ll have lots of awesome gift ideas for your sweetie in store, with some cocktails and music for your shopping enjoyment! I’ll have my Fazooli booth set up with jewelry, art and home decor items to suit any taste. Stay out of the malls this year and shop local on James Street North!

I guess things are moving along pretty good – I’ve got a fresh new ad campaign I’m working on and that includes some new social media accounts to go with it, so here’s the plug – hit me up on my FazooliArt Facebook page and give me a Like – then head over to Compilation to check out what I’ve been up to. Might find a cool gift idea for that hard-to-shop-for person and save Christmas! 🙂

Jack-&-Lois-Xmas-Market-Poster-WEBI’ll be setting up my wares at this awesome heated outdoor Christmas market on December 20th – with lots of my new Xmas items, as well as some really great deals on stocking stuffers and awesome gift ideas. So many great vendors this year – so you don’t want to miss out on buying something local and handmade. Let’s not spend too much this year on each other, and keep the money in the neighbourhood, supporting the community of artisans – now’s the best time of year to do it!

Had an awesome night at Art Crawl at Compilation – so many awesome people came to check it out, I can’t wait to see the test screening footage Advanced Vision captured! Stay tuned – I’ll post some when they’re available! In the meantime, my stuff is still available at Compilation until after Christmas, so check out some cool gift ideas if you’re in the hood!

This has been a busy summer, and Sundays haven’t been super restful at all for me, as I hustle my way through the city. This Sunday coming up is no exception – I’ll be setting up in front of Compilation with my skateboards, jewelry and apparel for the Open Streets Hamilton event going on downtown. Lots of great deals offered by so many different vendors, and great food too! My prints will be half off all day long! Come down and bring the family along!

Last week I went down to James Street North for the monthly Art Crawl and stumbled across the most whimsical animal heads created by textile designer and Sheridan student Keiley Stewart at the Surfacing Show inside of James Buttrum and Son Gallery. There was a fox, a lion and a hare and they were beee-utiful!

She had artfully strung them from the ceiling at head-level so that people could stand up in them and try them on. A photographer kept busy taking shots of random art lovers wearing the heads and I was lucky to get mine taken with the fox head and added to the wall of fame. Totally interactive art always makes me smile – it’s so much more personal and memorable.

I also love that Keiley is into foxes – her fox scarf and ring are so adorable I want to break into her house and steal them (I’ll pay for the damages ;P). Seriously though – this girl has got talent and I hope she takes it a step further.

Check out her site here. Can’t wait to see more from her soon!
