Tall Painting: It’s Pouring Rainbows

Tall painting has been hitting the streets, and creating quite a splash. The process involves pouring a multitude of measured amounts of paint on a three dimensional object, letting each colour run down the surface, adding a new one at intervals. The result is an incredible rainbow of beautiful hues, pushed together in interesting random patterns. With gravity doing most of the work, once dried, they create awesomely malleable sculptures.

I’m super psyched to try this out with some fellow artists, hopefully on as large a scale as possible. Better start hoarding acrylics!
